Ø The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: Ø Classical Islamic Thought: Providing critical analysis and interpretations of classical Islamic texts, philosophies, jurisprudence, and traditions, while maintaining adherence to authentic principles. Ø Contemporary Islamic Issues: Exploring modern challenges facing the Muslim world, including socio-political, economic, and cultural aspects, and offering solutions rooted in Islamic teachings. Ø Interdisciplinary Approaches: Encouraging research that spans across disciplines such as Quranic and Hadith sciences, Fiqh, Seerah, Tasawwuf, comparative religion, philosophy, theology, law, history, economics, sociology, political science, anthropology, cultural studies psychology, medicine, management, food science, information technology and other relevant disciplines. PJIS aims to foster transdisciplinary perspectives that connect Islamic studies with other fields of knowledge. Ø Islamic Ethics and Society: Addressing pressing ethical issues in contemporary society through the lens of Islamic teachings and thought. Ø Comparative Studies: Engaging with cross-cultural and interfaith dialogues, examining how Islamic perspectives compare to other worldviews, fostering mutual understanding and respect. Ø Islamic Contributions to Global Knowledge: Investigating the contributions of Islamic civilization to global development in the fields of science, literature, art, and governance, while underscoring the relevance of Islamic principles in modern-day contexts.
