Aim and Scope Mahila Pratishtha is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal published quarterly (January, April, July, October) from Andhra Pradesh. It is a special journal to discuss about the women issues, problems, polocies, programmes and perspectives. The aim of this journal is “To publish accurate, research based information on women, child children and gender issues written by research scholars, academicians, NGOs, policy makers and Government officials, thereby help to raise the discussion on women issues, schemes, welfare programmes in India and the globe”. Mahila Pratishtha welcomes research papers, review articles, research notes and book reviews on topics which broadly come under the purview of women, girl children, third gender and other gender related issues. The articles are also invited from science, engineering and medicine disciplines where the articles are related to the issues of Women, Gender Studies, Girl children and Third Gender.
