About This Journal

The Sarhad Journal of Legal Studies (SJLS) is an open-access, online, editorial-reviewed (blind), peer-reviewed (double-blind), biannual/semi-annual (with a continuous publication strategy) research journal. SJLS accepts original research articles, review articles, book reviews, and focus essays throughout the year in the fields of law and related interdisciplinary areas, with a focus on any region or area of the world. The journal encourages multidisciplinary scholarly contributions aimed at addressing complex legal and socio-legal challenges through innovative and informed perspectives. The SJLS was established in 2025 under the banner of the Sarhad Institute of Legal Studies, Sarhad University Science & IT, Pakistan, to provide a high-quality academic platform for researchers, scholars, and professionals of national and international standing. The journal is committed to promoting rigorous research standards and contributing to the global discourse on contemporary legal studies.
