About This Journal

The Journal Of Contemporary Urban Affairs is dedicated to discuss contemporary urban affairs by focusing on most up to date concerns on Urban habitats. It specifically focusses on the social and economic aspects of urban studies. In this regard, studies on conflict and divided territories, emerging cities, infra habitation, slums, affordable houses, gated communities, revitalization and rapid urbanization are the focal keywords to be considered for publication in this journal. Recently, the editorial board of the journal added “Pandemic and Urban Public Spaces” as additional scope to be considered for publication. Contributions are welcome from across the full range of social science disciplines and are expected to advance empirical and theoretical knowledge on contemporary urban affairs by considering the main scopes of the journal both from positive and normative perspectives. Highest priority is given to research reports that are specifically written for a multidisciplinary audience.
