Abstract
icle talks about the research operated by a study group set up at the LUMSA University of Palermo, on the representations of the value for the young adolescents in the territory of Palermo and Trapani. The work methodology used was based on a paradigm that includes in itself the methodological foundations of psychology and social dynamics, in particular, was inspired by the principles of constructivism and epistemological method CQR (Consensual Quality Research). The research, composed of an exploratory phase, an intervention phase and a control phase with summary of the results, find that the rationalemotional training, place in order to improve the understanding of values, produces expansion cognitive, more differentiated narratives , more recognition of values. From this action research also revealed a relative homogenization of the level of understanding and importance, associated to values. Homogeneity is ambiguous in psychodynamic sense, it could indicate learning training but also ratification, approval, acquiescence to the activity. However, the analysis has been made exclusively descriptive, therefore is possible to envisage a further phase of inferential research with the aim of obtaining interpretable and discriminant results
