Abstract
Il presente saggio propone una sintetica analisi del concetto di desiderio inteso quale strumento utile per un’analisi critico-teorico delle opere letterarie; partendo dalla visione di Peter Brooks di desiderio quale lente d’ingrandimento per comprendere a fondo le dinamiche testuali e i movimenti delle trame ci si muove verso una proposta più fluida e dinamica che permetta di avvicinarsi alla complessità eterogenea del discorso letterario, superando un certo tipo di strutturalismo eccessivamente rigido. Dopo un breve excursus sulla nozione di desiderio il concetto viene utilizzato per una descrizione del testo che cerca di considerarne, a tutto tondo, gli aspetti che lo rendono fruibile da uno sguardo secondo il desiderio.
