Abstract
La riflessione sul romanzo moderno e la nascita di uno dei concetti più importanti dell’ermeneutica del sé, quello di «identità narrativa», sono strettamente intrecciati nel pensiero di Ricœur. Attraverso una lettura di diverse opere del filosofo francese, si mostrerà il percorso di genesi poetica di questo concetto, confrontando altresì la teorizzazione ricoeuriana a proposito del romanzo moderno con le principali acquisizioni su questa forma letteraria da parte della critica e della teoria della letteratura.
