Abstract
Questa seconda parte dell'articolo sviluppa le premesse teoriche e metodologiche definite nella prima parte. Dalle conoscenze neuroscientifiche sulla memoria si ricavano alcune idee che quindi sono ripensate in termini psicologici e usate come euristica per un esame della Vita di Vittorio Alfieri. Lo scopo è valutare se le conoscenze neuroscientifiche, attraverso le mediazioni descritte, possano contribuire all'interpretazione di un'opera letteraria. L'autobiografia alfieriana è quindi studiata per il modo in cui il passato è rievocato e raccontato. Infine, si propongono alcune conclusioni teoriche e metodologiche.
