Abstract
Neohydatothrips ilamensis n. sp. (Thripidae: Sericothripinae) that was
collected on the flowers of chickpea, Cicer arietinum L. (Fabaceae), is
described as a new species in the genus Neohydatothrips John. This is the
fourth species of this genus to be recorded in Iran.
