Abstract
İbn Sina felsefesinde suret, cevher ve varlığı konu edinen yayınlamış doktora tezi olan eser, bu kavramların felsefe tarihinde geçirmiş olduğu süreci ayrıntılı bir şekilde ortaya koyması bakımından çok önemli bir yerde durmaktadır. Yazar, konuyu olabildiğince geniş bir filozof ve felsefi akım çerçevesinde ortaya koyarak, söylenmiş bütün sözlerin, bakış açılarınınım aktarımını başarılı bir şekilde ortaya koymuştur. Kullandığı dil ve ülup açısından okuyucunun anlamasına uygunluk arz eden kitap İslam Felsefesi ilgililerinin başvuru kaynağı olacak bir eser olarak görünmektedir.
