Abstract
Hirudoterapi, tıbbi sülükler (Hirudo medicinalis) kullanılarak yapılan bir tedavi şeklidir. Çok eski çağlardan beri tıpta çok çeşitli koşulları tedavi etmek için kullanılmaktadır. Hirudoterapi etki mekanizması sülüklerin kan emerken dolaşıma, içerisinde birçok biyoaktif maddenin bulunduğu bir salgıyı enjekte etmeleri sayesinde gerçekleşir. Hirudoterapiye bağlı muhtemel komplikasyonlar arasında uzun süren kanama, yara enfeksiyonları, anemi ve alerjik durumlardır. Bu olgu sunumunda Hirudoterapi sonrası gelişen yara enfeksiyonu devamında lenfajit enfeksiyon olgusu ve klasik tedavinin yanında Nöralterapi ile tedavisi sunulmuştur.
