Abstract
In the originally published version of this manuscript, there were errors in the NMR signal assignments of the a1-3 and a1-6 mannose branches in compounds Man3GlcNAc2 and Man3Glc2.Following the publication of this article, a re-evaluation of the 2D-NMR data, supported by newly acquired HMBC measurements for Man3GlcNAc2, revealed that the assignments for the a1-3 and a1-6 branches had been inadvertently swapped.Furthermore, for Man3Glc2, signal overlap had led to incomplete differentiation between the a1-3 and a1-6Man branches, affecting the subsequent assignments. The authors have reassigned the NMR spectra for both compounds.Furthermore, during the re-evaluation of the NOESY spectra, the data were rigorously re-examined and corrected by overlaying the COSY and TOCSY spectra to eliminate artifacts resulting from COSY correlations (Figure S2-3, S2-4).While the specific NOE correlations have changed due to this reassignment, the overall conformational difference between the two compounds, the loosely folded state caused by a "flip" conformation, remains fully supported by the corrected data. The main conclusion of the article is unchanged.Accordingly, the text detailing the NMR assignments and NOE correlations on pages 2, 3 and 4 should be updated as follows:
