Abstract
In this retrospective cohort study of 202 patients at the University of Miami, we assessed whether treatment lapses influence outcomes in early-stage mycosis fungoides. We found that patients who had treatment lapses were more likely to experience worsening of their disease and transformation to a more aggressive form. These findings suggest that continuity of treatment, even through low-intensity regimens, may be important for long-term disease control.
