Abstract
Abstract All contributors were asked to suggest key areas that presented challenges for the future for political psychology. Most did not do so in their own chapters, so as editor, I have done so in this chapter. My suggestions for the challenges the discipline faces, as well as possible solutions, come from discussions with the contributors of this volume and draw heavily on conversations from a panel at a recent ISPP meeting. The challenges we face are many, ranging from concerns with our central core as a discipline to which methods and approaches constitute valid and good scholarly work to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
