Abstract
Tumors exploit immune escape to evade elimination, whereas viruses remodel host immunity to replicate or persist. However, evidence to interpret these processes is fragmented across databases, literature, and omics analyses, hindering gene prioritization. To address this, we developed ImmunEscpMap, a gene-centered knowledgebase connecting cancer and viral-infection evidence within a unified immune-escape framework. The current release contains 55 711 gene-evidence records (53 911 PubMed records from 37 193 unique PMIDs and 1800 Gene Expression Omnibus records across 709 accessions) representing 667 distinct source genes (657 in cancer, 571 in viral infection, and 561 shared). Evidence is organized into eight immune-escape mechanisms and 14 viral contexts, with the cancer branch integrating multi-omics and clinical outcomes, and the viral branch separating mechanistic anchors from infection-associated evidence. The web interface supports identifier search, context browsing, literature views, interactive gene pages, and bulk downloads. ImmunEscpMap is freely available at https://iescpemap.cqmu.edu.cn/, providing a traceable cross-domain map to prioritize candidates and guide follow-up experiments.
