Abstract
The actual contribution of secondary publications is controversial, and reporting consensus for the secondary publications are lacking. We identified a high number of secondary publications from RCTs assessing biologic and small-molecule for moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis (PsO), with many reporting multi-component results, and confirmed the lack of registration number in 70% secondary publications. This complicates assessing secondary publications’ contribution and adds extra effort for systematic reviewers.
