Abstract
Generative AI is transforming approaches to learning, work, and creativity. This module introduces the concept of AI literacy, outlining what generative AI can and cannot do and emphasizing its responsible use in line with academic integrity. It explores practical strategies for enhancing learning, developing professional skills, and making informed decisions about AI tools. Rather than promoting a reliance on technology, the module highlights the importance of critical thinking and independent judgment when evaluating AI outputs. Building these capabilities prepares learners for academic success, future careers, and participation in a world where AI technologies are pervasive.
