Abstract
The timing of low-dose oral minoxidil (LDOM) administration may influence treatment outcomes in androgenetic alopecia (AGA). In this retrospective observational study of 329 patients, daytime LDOM dosing was associated with significantly greater improvements in hair density compared to nighttime dosing, both on univariable and multivariable analysis. These findings suggest that circadian variation in hair follicle biology may have clinical implications for optimizing LDOM therapy in AGA.
