Abstract
MOTIVATION: Demographic inference from the joint site frequency spectrum is limited by computation when many populations or many samples are analyzed. RESULTS: We present momi3, a JAX-based method for inferring complex demographic models from large allele frequency spectra. It supports continuous migration, GPU execution, automatic differentiation, standardized demographic model input, and genealogical pruning. These changes yield speedups up to.
