Abstract
Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP) is a rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by defective DNA repair, leading to a high cancer risk. While skin and eye symptoms are well known, oral involvement is less studied. In a retrospective study of 23 XP-C patients from Mayotte sharing the same mutation, oral lesions - especially on the lips and tongue - were frequent and appeared early. All patients showed tongue abnormalities by age 12, including precancerous lesions and carcinomas. These findings reveal a distinct, early-onset pattern and stress the need for systematic oral monitoring.
