Abstract
This qualitative study provides in-depth insight regarding the disease burden associated with Hailey–Hailey disease (recently renamed ATP2C1-nEDD) and the unmet care needs faced by patients and healthcare professionals. Future research should focus on tackling these needs and increasing knowledge and awareness of Hailey–Hailey disease. A consensus-based guideline should also be developed in order to provide tailor-made medical care.
