Abstract
In this nationwide Danish cohort study, mild-to-moderate chronic hand eczema was not associated with major adverse cardiovascular events. Severe chronic hand eczema showed a marginally increased risk of major adverse cardiovascular events, including ischemic stroke and mainly in hyperkeratotic and dyshidrotic subtypes, likely reflecting residual confounding.
