Abstract
In a retrospective cohort of 137 patients with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, folliculotropism was independently associated with an increased risk of post-diagnosis infections, particularly skin-origin infections. However, folliculotropism itself did not predict mortality. Instead, infection phenotypes—including bacterial, Staphylococcus aureus, and skin-origin infections—were the dominant drivers of adverse survival outcomes.
