Abstract
A 43-year-old woman presented with a 6-month history of painless violaceous plaques initially misdiagnosed as allergy or infection. Clinicopathologic evaluation established Lupus pernio, a form of Cutaneous sarcoidosis, and lesions resolved following systemic corticosteroid and methotrexate therapy. This case highlights the diagnostic challenge of atypical sarcoidosis and underscores the importance of early recognition and systemic evaluation to prevent disfigurement and organ involvement.
