Abstract
In this chapter we present a contemporary overview of carbon nanomaterials, and the usability and advantages of zero-dimensional carbon nanomaterials for tissue engineering and other biomedical applications, briefly cover their synthesis and characterization, and address the limitations and concerns associated with zero-dimensional carbon nanomaterials in tissue engineering. The intrinsic physiochemical and biomedical properties of zero-dimensional carbon nanomaterials may be examined further and prove to be a suitable alternative for tissue repair and regeneration, and overcome the current obstacles in tissue engineering.
