Abstract
This chapter addresses the topic of molecular-scale electronics. The Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) and self-assembled monolayer (SAM) techniques will be introduced, followed by an analysis of transport properties at the nanoscale. Examples of molecular wires, molecular rectifiers, and transistors will be given.
