Abstract
The first major section of this chapter is inspired by the keynote speech made by Mr Dow Wilson, president and CEO of Varian Medical Systems, at the Global Health Summit on the 24th May, 2019 at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA. The second part briefly addresses the potential for industry contributions and identifies key areas of focus for gains against cancer in the coming years.
