Abstract
In this chapter, a brief description of three commonly used Monte Carlo software packages (SIMIND, SIMSET and GATE) is provided. Examples provided in this chapter, were produced using an in-house-written EGSnrc user code to generate absorbed dose images from aligned voxel-based source and density images.
