Abstract
In this chapter, Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT), a binary type of radiotherapy is presented. The technique is envisioned as a two-step procedure involving, first, the administration of a 10B agent which is taken up preferentially by malignant cells, and second, irradiation of the target volume with a beam of epithermal neutrons.
