Abstract
In this chapter, the need for personalized dosimetry in nuclear medicine is highlighted. The lack of accurate dosimetry calculations not only results in suboptimal therapy for the patients, when patients may need other therapies in the future, but knowledge of previous therapy doses is essential to planning new therapies. It further emphasises the need to change the historical practice of ‘one dose fits all’ approach to nuclear medicine therapy.
