Abstract
In this chapter, the two types of radionuclides for which classical microdosimetry has the greatest relevance, even at therapeutically administered activities: alpha and Auger electron emitters, are introduced. Since alpha and Auger electron therapies using antibody and other carrier molecules have become a clinical reality over the past few years, the remainder of this chapter will focus on a discussion of each.
