Abstract
The Iisaka pegmatite occurs near the north end of the Abukuma granite region, which extends over a hundred kilometers from north to south in the northeastern part of the main island of Japan. The pegmatite carries various rare minerals, including uraninite, the approximate age of which was calculated as 103 million years.
