Abstract
Plant microfossils occur abundantly in the silt below buff and white sand, which contains few microfossils, in a long core. Pollen of both primary and secondary (reworked Early Tertiary) origin is present, making interpretation of age and climatic conditions during deposition difficult. The available data indicate a marine depositional environment, temperate or cool-temperate climatic conditions, and origin during the Two Creeks interval.
