Abstract
The Upper Devonian Goniatite beds of the Kimberley district, in the northern part of Western Australia, comprise equivalents of Oberdevonstufe, I, II, and III. The fauna of these beds is very similar to that of the strata in the European standard sections of these stages. Among the important fossils are the lamellibranch Buchiola, the trilobites, Scutellum and Cyrtosymbole, the goniatites, Manticoceras, Beloceras, Cheiloceras, Tornoceras, Sporadoceras, Dimeroceras, Pseudoclymenia, and the clymeniid Platyclymenia.
