Abstract
Considers that the laws of mechanics and dynamics make a continental drift impossible. Also that the geological evidence on which based is largely antiquated or imaginary. Explains that past floral and faunal migrations may be due to uplifts and subsidences in oceanic areas caused by volume changes beneath the crust of the earth and relieved by volcanic outpourings.
