Abstract
Sexual harassment is a serious social and ethical issue that negatively affects individuals at personal, social, and professional levels. This research study introduces sexual harassment, significance of the issue, types and causes of harassment i,e; social, psychological and economical etc. It is also examining harassment from the perspective of shariah and that of International law for the purpose of comparative assessment of the causes and remedies to sexual harassment as well. It is found that Shariah provides a well balanced approach to sexual harassment based on ethical and moral principles, while international Law does not deal it properly. therefore, the findings suggest that a comprehensive combination of Islamic principles and international policies may offer a balanced solution to the issue of sexual harassment on a global scale.
