Abstract
E-commerce has been a reality for decades, with a significant growth from the increase in consumer connectivity with the expansion of Internet access globally and greater processing capacity of service providers. COVID-19 pandemic has shown the potential of this form of commercialization, but also, the logistical and operational challenges for its functionality during the pandemic. The objective pursued in this article is to identify the premises that the Cuban Business Sector must follow for sustainable e-commerce implantation. To this end, an analysis was carried out of the impact that COVID-19 has had on global supply chains, and at the same time, how e-commerce and e-logistics impact on the final client. Another method used was expert judgment, supported by updated literature on these topics. The results were the main challenges and premises that must be followed  in order to adequately execute e-commerce.
