Abstract
Por iniciativa del doctor Manuel Plata Azuero se fundó en Bogotá la Sociedad de Medicina y Ciencias Naturales para lo cual fue convocada una reunión que tuvo lugar en la sala de la casa del doctor Abraham Aparicio, el 3 de enero de 1873, a las siete y media de la noche, y a la cual concurrieron además de los dos médicos citados, los doctores Evaristo García, Leoncio Barreto, Liborio Zerda y Nicolás Osorio.
