Abstract
Objetivos: Identificar na literatura evidências disponíveis sobre a ocorrência da tuberculose pulmonar nos profissionais de enfermagem e mecanismos de controle da tuberculose existentes na unidade hospitalar. Metodologia: Revisão integrativa nas bases de dados da LILACS, MEDLINE e banco de tese da USP, no período de 2000 a 2010. Resultados: Os profissionais que mais desenvolveram a tuberculose doença em seu ambiente de trabalho foram: enfermagem citada em 14 (82,4%) e medicina citados em 03 (17,6%) dos artigos analisados, em relação aos demais profissionais de saúde. Conclusão: É de extrema importância a implementação de medidas de biossegurança em unidades hospitalares, bem como a investigação da infecção da tuberculose pulmonar em profissionais de saúde.
