Abstract
Zearalenon (ZEN) bir küf mantarı olan Fusariumların metabolitidir. Zearalenon; FES (Fermentasyon Östrojenik Madde) veya F-2 toksini adları ile de bilinmektedir. Bu küf metaboliti olmaktan çok hormon benzeri kimyasal yapı göstermektedir. Küflü besinlerle beslenen hayvanlarda; F-2 toksini olarak bilinen ZEN “Östrojenizm” denen hastalığa neden olmaktadır.
