The article deals with some issues related to the international yacht rent practice. Special attention is given to the development of nautical tourism in the Republic of the Crimea. Russian Government is developing a program to create favorable conditions for yachting development in the coastal areas of the Russian Federation. However, the practical activity of foreign companies on delivery of yachts for rent is still poorly understood. Therefore, considering international practice, the development of this kind of business is quite important for the sustained development of the yacht tourism in the Crimea.
