Abstract
The new platforms of communication and information have been responsible, among many things, the rediscovery of audio as a language rich with possibilities. This process could be classified as a transmutation of the analog in digital audio radio, able to adapt to different media environments and interact with other languages. The changes and innovations in information communication technologies are leading to a redefinition of the concepts of media and new sonic language. This article focuses on the technological advances of radio and new media platforms that have emerged in the information society.
