Abstract
Que las instituciones presentan características congruentes con la realidad que las sustenta, no es un hallazgo tortuoso ni una verdad cuyo descubrimiento debamos a los esfuerzos dialécticos del marxismo. Desgraciadamente al no contar con una historia confiable de nuestra sociedad y de nuestras instituciones, hemos de apelar a testimonios aislados que nos permitan inferir lo que ha sido la educación, y principalmente la educación superior, dentro del proceso evolutivo de nuestro pueblo.
