En el presente trabajo se ofrece un estado de la cuestión de las caracteristicas que presentaban las ocupaciones prehistóricas a finales del Tardiglacial y comienzos del Holoceno en el País Vasco, entre el décimo y el octavo milenio a.C. Las nuevas investigaciones aportan datos sobre la expansión que se produjo en la población y la necesidad de recurrir a nuevos biotopos para satisfacer sus necesidades
