Abstract
The present paper approaches the subject from the angle of the second generation muslim youth living in Spain perception of Islam. It is based on 18 interviews and conversations held in Madrid during October and November 2000. The author’s aim in this article is to uncover the dominant tendencies on the Islam practiced by second generation youth, which is seen as being in full process of transformation.
