Abstract
O presente texto tem o propósito de estudar as relações de poder configuradas pela educação religiosa católica e pela sedução masculina exercidas sobre a personagem Maria Luísa, na obra homônima, de Lúcia Miguel Pereira. Publicada em 1933, Maria Luísa traz intensa sintonia com os princípios ideológicos daqueles tempos e conserva, de certo modo, uma preocupação com a ordem social, prevista e reiterada pelos meios de difusão do pensamento católico, como a revista A Ordem, a quem Lúcia contribui como escritora
