Abstract
El trabajo señala que para que el público pueda acercarse a la ciencia, es útil presentar al investigador en toda su profundidad humana, con sus temores y zozobras, con sus aciertos y errores, éxitos y fracasos, rasgos de carácter, su biografía. Dar cuenta de las vicisitudes de los científicos, los problemas y pobrezas en los que se debaten hasta lograr sus objetivos. Conocer los casos en que tienen que romper con tabúes ideológicos y religiosos y resaltar el que los aportes de ellos salieron a la luz cuando eran muy jóvenes, así como su perseverancia y tenacidad los llevó a publicar sus descubrimientos hasta edades avanzadas. Así humanizándoles franquean el paso a quienes están escasamente sensibilizados por la ciencia
