Abstract
La evolución de la tuberculosis en Cuba, después de una reducción progresiva de la incidencia en los últimos años, modifica su comportamiento a partir de 1992 al producirse un incremento en la detección de casos. Se describe este problema, se analizan las principales características de la enfermedad y la estrategia del programa de control adoptada para enfrentar esta nueva situación.
