Abstract
El convento de los padres dominicos de la ciudad de Tunja, posee una de las bibliotecas más ricas y antiguas de Colombia. Esta biblioteca se empezó a formar en el año de 1550 con la fundación del claustro dominicano. Fue saqueada en el siglo pasado. Restaurada en el año de 1960, cuenta hoy con más de 6.000 volúmenes, de ellos 980 impresos en España en los siglos XVI, XVII, y XVIII.
