Abstract
En Iberoamérica, la cantidad de salas de cine y de espectadores está disminuyendo; sin embargo, la comercialización y consumo crece en todo el mundo. En este marco, el autor propone algunos puntos para un debate imprescindible que permita avanzar de modo compartido en un arte que, a través de la creación de imágenes, crea las identidades necesarias para el desarrollo.
